Hey everyone, I am glad to be starting a new semester at GWU. I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year. This semester my goal is to not wait to the last minute for my work. I want to have more time with my family on the weekends. I want to stay on top of my work and work smarter not harder. What I have learned so far in week one is how much science has changed in the teaching aspect. We discussed as future teachers are we preparing our students for jobs that may not be around when they graduate. This to me was an eye opener, I never thought in depth about the teaching career and how jobs may not need to be there. As a future teacher, I need to make sure my students learn what they need to know in order to be successful for any career. In today's society technology is taking over many jobs and it is teachers jobs to teach students with the knowledge of technology. We can do this by incorporating technology into our classrooms.
